The Flowers:
Nice warm summer and sunshine is a great theme for a Florida wedding. With warm weather and the sun, the natural colours to think about would be yellow and white. Poolside Reception: this package is for 15 - 32 guests and it includes three hours of Premium Bar, a Sparkling Champagne Toast, a Cocktail Reception and a Buffet Dinner.
Paradise Cottage Reception: this package is for 15 - 80 guests and it includes three hours of Premium Bar, a Sparkling Champagne Toast, a Cocktail Reception and a choice of plated or buffet Dinners
Westin Key West Resort & Marina Reception: this reception option comes with a choice of a Plated, Buffet, Heavy Hors d'Oeuvres, Family Style or Stations Dinner.
Private Reception at Latitudes: this option is for 50 - 175 guests, it includes one hour Cocktail Reception and a four hour Dinner Reception
The only downfall to this is that the couple must work with a Wedding Planner provided by them. This isn't always a bad thing, they obviously know what they are doing and have worked with the places and people before to get you exactly what you want. However, this also means you have to use the people they offer, for photography, for the cake and music and other things they provide.

The Food:
If you choose to get married in a resort type place like this they will have their own menu already planned out. Usually they have a number of options to choose from so you can get a little bit of everything to make most of your guests happy. (Their menu options are available here).
The Cake:
When I think of Summer and Sunshine I think of Lemon and fresh berries. This Lemon-Raspberry Cake was a natural fit for this wedding. The flavour combined together screams bright and sunny. A nice cake to match the theme would be a nice white cake with lemon circles around the base of each layer. It matches the wedding colours and the circles look like the sun.

The Centerpieces:
Fruits are always a great way to add colour to any wedding centerpiece. A vase with yellow lemons in it would be perfect for this wedding. Adding flowers also would make it that much more special and beautiful, however it would also drive up the cost. Either way, with or without the flowers it is a beautiful choice for a yellow centerpiece.

Things to See:
There are a lot of fun places to go and things to do in Key West. It's a very historical place and very beautiful. A nice part of history is the Harry S. Truman Little White House also a great historical thing to see is the Fort Zachary Taylor Historic Park. The Historic "Taylor Park" has a beautiful beach. Key West has wonderful things to see and tour like the Ernest Hemingway House, the Key West Lighthouse, West Martello Tower, Audubon House & Tropical Gardens and Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory. Key West also has some nice museums to visit like the Key West Shipwreck Museum and the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum.
